Wonderful Woodcraft with thoughts
on entertainment centers.

We have been having a blast coming up with new designs. We are hoping that we will have a plan completed soon and are looking forward to starting a new project.

Even the ones that appear to be great looking are very poor in workmanship.

Our thoughts, always seemed to us that when something was custom it meant real wood not products of wood and real workmanship.

Even the real custom entertainment centers I have found appear to have been mass produced, where's the custom woodworking in that?

Don't get me wrong we have found some that are very creative in design and fall into what we call wonderful woodcraft.

And we have seen some in catalogs that appear to be in this category as well, but pictures can be deceiving. Compare the two pictures on this page. The first one is fairly plain and painted,.

The second one here is what I believe is a very good example of custom woodworking. It has rich color and a lot of aspects that show well anyway you look at it.

Are you getting a better understanding of how wonderful woodcraft works. Are you starting to see ways to take this great looking cabinet and make it even better.

What changes do you see as being possibilities? What additions, or exclusions would you make?

If you can see any way of making improvements to it, then great job. What are you seeing, what are you thinking, are you starting to get that old feeling back?

If so then you are definitely on your way out of the rut, and it will get easier with each new plan you can come up with. Before you know you will have returned to your former self and regain your enjoyment of your Hobby or business.
