Wood working tip on Safety.
by Aarron
(Michigan)
When working with rough wood, to avoid getting splinters, wear a good pair of gloves. Even a cheap pair of gloves can help prevent your getting splinters in your hands.
Woodworking with rough cut wood is also a way to save a little money as you can get it directly from sawmills at a lower cost than you will pay for finished wood at a lumber yard. The second tip I have to offer is ear plugs. Ear plugs will help save your hearing from the noise of LOUD Power Tools. Over time the load noise from your power equipment an power tools can result in hearing loss. Simply use EARPLUGS to avoid this from happening to you.
